Qualified Welder/Fabricator - Permanent Position

Cheltenham | $80K + Super | Negotiable Based on Experience | Monday-Friday

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Welder/Fabricator to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for:

  • Fabricating, assembling and welding thin-gauge metal components to required specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
  • Performing high-quality MIG and TIG welding.
  • Working with light-gauge materials from 0.9mm to 1.6mm.
  • Working with Zincaneal, Galvabond, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets quality and safety requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant welding/fabrication qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in MIG and TIG welding.
  • Strong experience working with thin-gauge metals.
  • The ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
