Description

Perform ARC, MIG, and Gas welding on heavy vehicles and heavy equipment Repair and fabricate chassis, frames, bodies, buckets, arms, and metal structures Read and understand drawings, job cards, and instructions Cut, grind, and finish metal surfaces as required Inspect welds to ensure strength and quality Carry out repair work on trucks, trailers, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and cranes Maintain welding machines, tools, and work area Follow HSE and workshop safety rules at all times Coordinate with supervisors and technicians to complete jobs on time

Responsibilities

The welder will perform various types of welding on heavy vehicles and equipment, including repairs and fabrication of metal structures. They are also responsible for inspecting welds for quality and maintaining tools and work areas.
