• Good practical skills, attention to detail, and strong work ethic
• Forklift experience is essential

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Welder / General Operative to join our workshop team. The role involves welding, fabrication, packing finished products, and general workshop duties including material handling and organisation. This is a hands on position with opportunities to work on large engineering projects while developing new skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out MIG welding and basic fabrication
• Assist with the fitting and assembly of hydraulic cylinders and related products
• Read and follow engineering drawings where required
• Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, grinders, and welders
• Handle, prepare, and organise steel bars, tubes, and plates in the workshop.
• Pack and prepare finished products for dispatch to customers
• Perform general workshop duties including cleaning, organising, and supporting machinists and fabricators
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
