As our operations expand, we are looking for a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented Welder to join our growing team in Halifax.
Position Overview
As a Welder, you will play a critical role in the creation, assembly, and repair of metal structures and components. This is a full-time, permanent position designed for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a collaborative, professional environment.
You will be responsible for reading technical drawings, welding and assembling components, and ensuring that every piece meets our high standards for quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding on various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate components accurately.
  • Assemble, fit, and fabricate metal parts according to project requirements.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of welded products meets company and industry standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the fabrication team and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Assist with material handling, cutting, and preparation as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Completion of a recognized welding program or apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in a fabrication environment.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to work with heavy materials and machinery.
  • Team-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Red Seal certification is an asset but not required.
