Description Pay Rate: $18 - $27/ hour OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY: This is an assembly/welding position responsible for welding of sub-assemblies. The successful candidate will come with good attitude, a can-do spirit, and the ability to learn and complete assigned tasks efficiently, correctly, and in alignment with the Company values and operating philosophy. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Follow all standard work instructions. Gather, prepare, cut, roll, bend, weld and/or assemble raw material to produce parts as detailed on mechanical drawings. Ensure all quality standards are met including proper fit and alignment, verifying dimensions and performing any necessary testing. Maintain and follow a production schedule to deliver parts on time. Document work and results as specified. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety guidelines and safe working practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Fulton Safety Training (Crane, Tow Motor, Fire, Etc.) Requirements QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience): High School Diploma or GED Welding experience Possess good mechanical aptitude Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings Ability to work independently on complex custom jobs with little to no supervision DEMONSTRATED CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: Initiative - Identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked or before the situation requires it. Personal Credibility - Be reliable and trustworthy. Results Oriented - The ability to focus on a desired result Thoroughness - Ensuring work and information is complete and accurate Accountability - Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Heavy Work – Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently. Frequent standing and walking. Bending/Stooping – Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Full motion of the body, lower extremities and back muscles. Ability to run a sand rammer for extended periods of time. Respirator - Must be able to use a respirator and may be exposed to dust and fumes. Kneeling - Bending legs at knees to come to a rest on one or both knees. Noise - The workers is subject to noise on a regular basis and shouting may be required to be heard above noise level and hearing protection. Repetitive Motion - Substantial movement/motion of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Vision - Visual acuity is required to operate mechanical or skilled trades.
