Description IKA Works, Inc. is looking to add a Welder to the team. This person will be responsible for performing all required welding, fabricating, polishing, and inspection of process and laboratory equipment components in compliance with ASTM standards. This role ensures the highest quality workmanship, supports assembly and machine shop operations, and maintains a safe and organized work environment. Essential Duteis & Responsibilities: Welding, fabricating, grinding, deburring, polishing and inspection of process/laboratory components and fixtures. Develop and utilize procedures for the welding, fabricating, grinding and polishing process components. Assist process assembly and machine shop when necessary. Utilize safe, proper setup and operation procedures for all tools and equipment used. Keep all tools, machinery, tooling and accessories clean, orderly and safe. Monitor raw material inventory levels. Record accurate information on weekly time tickets, inspection documents, material certification records and other required forms. Requirements Five (5) years minimum hands-on experience in welding and polishing machined components and fabrications. Must have experience welding stainless steel. ASTM Welding certifications required. This position works a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
