JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an opening for a Welder Fabricator for day shift. There is a competitive pay and benefit package available that will be based upon the applicants experience.
Under general supervision, applies appropriate welds to repair or rebuild walking floor trailers and tipper trailers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Preform welding repairs on damaged metal/aluminum trailers.
-Repairs on walking floor and tipper trailers
-perform welding cutting grinding fabrication tasks with a variety of techniques (mig, stick, push pull aluminum, arc gouging, plasma, etc)
- Fit and/or Weld custom made products as directed
-Set up/ maintain welding equipment
-Ability to move a tractor trailer’s independently is a asset
Requirements and Qualifications:
-Takes pride in satisfying task requirements in a team setting
-Ability to think for themselves and come up with a plan of attack
-Mechanically inclined
-Hold valid Certificate of Qualification welding tickets and 5+ years of fitting and/or welding experience
-Heavy plate welding experience
-Flux-Core and Multi-position welding experience
-Ability to read text and make calculations and measurements accurately
-Own a basic set of tools for disassembly of walking floors etc.
