Description Reads blueprints/ drawings Takes/ reads measurements Operates machinery such as grinders, band saws, etc. Loads metals parts/ tubing into fixtures Aligns parts using calipers, rulers, clamps, etc. Ensures proper fitment of parts Tack welds parts together MIG & TIG welds parts under supervision of more experienced welders Stages jobs for Welder II’s and III’s Assists Welder’s II & III’s as needed Other duties as assigned. Requirements 2-3 years on the job (MIG & TIG) welding experience Experience using saws, welder machines, tools, etc. Knowledge of PPE (face shields, welder helmets, gloves, steel toes, curtains, etc) Must have a commitment to excellent quality standards. Must have a commitment to Safety. Must be able to read and speak English fluently. Must possess a helpful, friendly & positive attitude. High School diploma/ GED required Experience welding stainless steel a plus Welding Certification Program (AWS) a plus Other Details: Periodic lifting (up to 50lbs.)
