JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Buckie to work on a range of vessels for the fishing, oil, salmon and windfarm industries. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various welding techniques and preferably have some previous marine experience but this is not essential.
Core hours of work are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. but the ability to be flexible is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in welding.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes and sheet metal work is advantageous.
• Competence in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the welding trade.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
