Meta Steel Buildings is a leading supplier of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings across Canada and the U.S. We specialize in high-quality steel structures for industrial, commercial, and agricultural use. We are currently seeking a skilled Welder / Metal Fabricator with CWB certification to join our growing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid CWB Welding Certification (required)
• Minimum 2–3 years of welding/fabrication experience (structural steel preferred)
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and steel fabrication practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop blueprints
• Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Perform welding and fabrication of structural steel components according to drawings and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Operate welding equipment (MIG, Stick, etc.) and hand/power tools safely and effectively
• Fit and weld metal components to create frames, beams, and building parts
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with CWB standards
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and safe
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines
