JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create high-quality metal products for construction and manufacturing applications. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet industry standards and specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in construction or manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding.
• Familiarity with operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of ASME codes & standards related to metal fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
• Experience with machining, soldering, and assembly processes is a plus.
• Knowledge of rigging techniques and safety practices in a construction setting.

• Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding to fabricate metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks.
• Perform pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and rigging as needed for various projects.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in measurements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
• Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in troubleshooting equipment issues during fabrication processes.
