Requirements Must pass pre-employment drug screen Superior attendance Proven experience as a MIG welder and proficient in MIG welding techniques Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies
Responsibilities
The welder will perform MIG welding on various metal components according to specifications and drawings, and assemble and fabricate metal parts using power and hand tools. They will also inspect welded joints for defects and maintain a clean work area.
