SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team at Nautical Structures Industries, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various components for our marine equipment, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of delivering exceptional products to our clients.

  • Compute dimensions and tolerances
  • Determine machining operation requirements
  • Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies
  • Measure and lay out work pieces
  • Plan the best sequence of operations
  • Set up, operate, and maintain machine tools
  • Verify the dimensions of products
  • Build, fabricate, repair, and assemble/disassemble aluminum and stainless-steel products
  • Read blueprints & technical drawings, and confer with engineering, technical, or manufacturing personnel
  • Cutting torch, arc welding equipment, TIG, and MIG heavy aluminum structure
  • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions and weld parts, components, or structures
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day with all legal breaks

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Need to have at least 2 years of minimum Aluminum and stainless steel welding experience (MIG & TIG), or a graduate of Industrial Arts Institute
  • Need to pass a welding test
  • Need to know how to read a tape measure
  • Need to know how to read fractions, decimals, and metric systems
  • Need to understand basic hand tools
