Description Experienced Welder Wanted! You must be able to set up welding machines and equipment (both MIG and TIG); read and interpret blueprints to understand the product's specifications; weld, cut, grind, and finish the product; and inspect your work for accuracy and quality. Pay: $23.00-$25.00 DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4 PM Requirements Responsibilities: Assists others in setting up the machine and stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished pieces. Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as hydraulic bending tables, rolls, shears, plasma cutters, grinders, and drill presses, Cleans and scrapes metal preparatory to fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping. Move parts into position manually or with a hoist. Remove high spots and cut bevels using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches. Lift or move materials and finished products manually or with a hoist. Straighten warped or bent parts using sleds, hand torches, or straightening presses. Clean the work area, machines, tools, and equipment. Qualifications 2-4 years of previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields Familiarity with welding tools and procedures Ability to handle physical workload. Ability to read shop drawings and follow verbal instructions. Basic Shop math (fractions, measurements) Welding Certificate highly desired!
