We are now seeking a skilled Welder to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MIG welding experience is an asset
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment an asset
• Can read and follow blueprints
• Ability to set temperature and wire speed
• Ability to handle varied welding tasks, as well as repetitive processes
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Troubleshooting skills
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing (English)
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily, while ensuring to be punctual
• Welding Helmet and Steel-toed safety boots are required
• Ability to work within a welding / manufacturing environment for 10 hours a day
• Willingness to work Overtime if available

Including, but not limited to the following:

• Set up and weld parts using MIG welding (GMAW) processes to match blueprints
• Operate and maintain the welder in excellent condition
• Use hand tools such as grinders, flame cutting equipment, air and power tools
• Keep work area clean
• Keep up with production demands while working safely
• Other duties as assigned
