Conduct welding operations on various hydraulic and support components, ensuring strong and durable joints. 2. Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine the specific welding requirements. 3. Utilize various welding methods like TIG, MIG, and arc welding based on project needs. 4. Inspect finished welds, ensuring they adhere to quality standards and specifications. 5. Operate cutting equipment to dismantle assemblies or cut materials to size. 6. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, ensuring its optimum performance. 7. Collaborate with the design and production teams to offer insights on welding feasibility and improvements. Responsibilities: 1. Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear during operations. 2. Ensure the welding workspace is clean, safe, and free from potential hazards. 3. Train junior welders and apprentices, sharing expertise and best practices. 4. Regularly inspect welding tools and equipment, scheduling maintenance or repairs as needed. 5. Work with the procurement team to ensure the availability of essential welding supplies. 6. Address and rectify any welding discrepancies that may arise during quality inspections. 7. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and integrate best practices. Work Activities: 1. Engaging in detailed welding operations for extended periods. 2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on project specifications. 3. Evaluating welded structures for strength and integrity. 4. Calibrating and setting up welding machinery. 5. Participating in continuous learning and training sessions. Technology Skills: 1. Proficiency with different welding machines including arc welders, TIG, and MIG machines. 2. Experience with plasma cutters and other cutting equipment. 3. Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software for welding and fabrication. 4. Knowledge of diagnostic tools for welding equipment maintenance. 5. Ability to use digital measurement tools for precision. Knowledge: 1.
