Steelrod is an Australian owned Company located at Narangba, Northside of Brisbane with a reputation based on manufacturing a wide range of components mostly for the railway and mining industries. 

Steelrod requires the services of a second class welder, 38 hour per week position with overtime as required. Casual and Full Time positions available with immediate start. Day and Evening Shifts.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following skills:

• Pulse MIG welding experience
• Welding mainly 8mm and 10mm fillets
• Elements of repetitive jig work
• All welding and protective equipment provided
• Understanding of OH&S policies and procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Reliable and honest work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Punctual and Hardworking
• Motivated
• Own Transport
