As a PTMW Welder, you’ll bring designs to life — fabricating parts and assemblies for custom OEM projects built to meet exact customer specifications. Key Responsibilities for our Welders include: Interpreting and following proper welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings. Using calibrated measuring tools (measuring tapes, squares, etc.) to properly fit up assemblies. Utilizing industry tools and equipment. Hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery powered tools. Plasma cutters, oxyacetylene torches, and carbon air arc. Welding parts in various positions, processes (GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW), and materials (Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel). Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work area. Following all safety guidelines and procedures. Assisting in other areas of production as needed or as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or Equivalent. Technical Certificate or Degree in Welding preferred 1+ year of welding experience Experience in various welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment Proficient in basic math and able to read tape measures Able to pass visual and bend tests in various processes and positions on various materials Capable of lifting up to 100lbs Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical capacity test and breath alcohol test.
Responsibilities
Welders will interpret and follow proper welding procedures and symbols, utilizing various tools and equipment to fabricate parts and assemblies. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety guidelines.
