Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Welder to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a keen individual to operate in a busy and fast-paced environment at our Dandenong South facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with a proven track record and a thorough understanding of Australian fabrication standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilise hand and power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments proficiently to conduct precise cutting, welding, and fabrication tasks
  • Fit and assemble fabricated metal parts into finished products, ensuring adherence to technical specifications
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in interpreting and implementing blueprints and technical drawings to achieve accurate alignment and assembly of components
  • Perform thorough inspections and execute repairs to optimise the functionality and safety of structural components such as railings and guards, in accordance with maintenance standards
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors and team members, providing regular progress updates and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors or managers to support operational requirements
  • Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
