Description

TW Industrial Group Is looking for a qualified ticketed CWB all positions welder to work with our team in the field. Travel will be required throughout BC and Alberta. Crew will be expected to book their own accomodations and travel

Tasks:

  • Be able to take instruction, and carry out necessary tasks as may be assigned by the shop Foreman
  • Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
  • Layout, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications on assignments
  • Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc or other welding equipment
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
  • Be familiar with structural Fabrication forming and various other fabrication processes
  • Be able to use technical drawing and various other specs and verbal instructions for planning and accomplishing the goal.

Requirements:

  • Must pay close attention to detail
  • Have the ability to meet deadlines,
  • CWB certification will be considered an asset
  • Red Seal will be considered an asset
  • Overhead Crane, Fall Protection and Aerial workplace platform training will also be an asset
  • Experience cutting and joining metal parts for fabricating or repairing, vehicle equipment, tools and other various articles
  • Experience applying tools like mig-welder, plasma cutter, arc welder, chop saw, oxyacetylene torch etc.

  • 75% (preferred)
