Join us and make your mark!The Role Maintain all correct consumables, feeds, amperages and pre heat in accordance with applicable weld procedures Weld steel structures in sequence to eliminate shrinkage and distortion of steel components Remove tack welds, clean and restore weld preparations where required Solid understanding of current Australian Welding Standards. Welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW and Arc air gouging. Ability to pass weld tests 3G, 4G and 6G Follow quality control systems and techniques About You Ability to pass 6G FCAW/GMAW (STT), GTAW Australian recognised Trade Certificate Construction White Card Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue) Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue) Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable) Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens Additional Tickets will be highly regarded Civmec + You At Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a ‘Never Assume’ culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
