WHAT WE OFFER

• Casual Role: DIDO outage, located at Tarong Power Station in Tarong, QLD
• Project Dates: Start date from early September, running approximately until November.
• Roster: Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts.
• Competitive Rate: EBA rates $70.15 p/h (including 25% casual loading) + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Site Allowance.
• Other Benefits: Join a supportive team delivering Downers Callide outage. LAFHA or Accommodation is provided to distant workers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking casual Special Class Welders to provide outage services at Tarong Power Station in Tarong, QLD. Starting in early September 2025 , Downer will offer mechanical and project services throughout the outage period. As a Special Class Welder, you will apply your expertise in piping setup, structural and welding fabrication, ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.
