OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a skilled Welder for a 3-month contract position. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG and ARC welding, and be comfortable working in a warehouse and fabrication environment. This role involves working with pipe sections, performing accurate welds, and following work orders to complete custom fabrication projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2–3 years of MIG and ARC welding experience
• Proficient with hand tools
• Able to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs)
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to perform self-layouts using jigs
• Comfortable working around heat and chemicals
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

• Prepare and cut pipe sections using table or jig saws
• Lay out and set up pipe sections for welding
• Weld pipe using MIG and ARC welding equipment and techniques
• Apply cold galvanizing solution to protect finished welds
• Complete projects by following manufacturing work orders or verbal instructions
• Locate and gather required materials
• Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support additional warehouse or gate fabrication tasks as required
