SUMMARY

We are currently seeking experienced Journeyperson Welders to join our production team at our Acheson facility. This role is vital for ensuring the quality and integrity of our steel products. As a Welder, you will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional steel solutions while working with advanced technology and techniques. Ideal candidates are quality-driven, safety-conscious, and capable of interpreting blueprints to fabricate structural steel components with precision.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Journeyperson / Red Seal Certification
• CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) Certification
• CWB Level 1 Welding Inspector certification an asset
• Experience with Submerged Arc Welding (Sub Arc) an asset
• Proficiency in all-position structural steel welding
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding schematics
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

• Weld a variety of structural steel components in accordance with project specifications
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on welds; adjust as necessary
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production timelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment

  Successful candidates will be required to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing, as well as Physical Fitness to Work Mobility Testing as a condition of their employment. Reliable transportation to the facility is Acheson is also required, as there is limited public transit.
