Job Summary
The Edmonton branch is currently seeking a Journeyman or Apprentice Welder to join our Mechanical Services Team. We’re looking for knowledgeable, experienced, and highly motivated individuals who have a great work ethic and enjoy working in a team-focused environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW),
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.

Job Requirement

• Must hold a current and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work with minimal direction
• Willingness to travel
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours
• Willingness and ability to work in remote locations
