Description As a Welder you will safely support fabrication and production operations by performing basic welding, fitting, grinding, and metal preparation tasks under the direction of experienced welders or supervisors. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, following safety procedures, and assisting in the assembly and repair of metal components and structures. With a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn welding techniques and fabrication processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will weld components by studying blueprints, determining equipment requirements, and performing welding to meet production deadlines. What you’ll do Perform MIG, TIG, or laser welding on metal components Read and follow drawings, and work instructions Measure and fit materials for welding Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy Perform simple repetitive tasks using bolts, screws, clips, hand tools, and other fastening devices Remove excess weld imperfections Operate hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment safely Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles Collaborating with leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals while communicating quality or safety concerns Assist with general shop duties as needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English No welding certifications required Ability to safely operate machinery and equipment in accordance with work instructions and safety procedures Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Reliable attendance and positive attitude Preferred Qualifications Previous welding or fabrication experience Basic understanding of quality requirements and inspection processes Prior work in a sheet metal or fabrication environment Essential Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment Work Environment Manufacturing and production floor environment Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials Use of required protective equipment at all times May involve exposure to heat, noise, and sparks Benefits Medical, Dental, & Vision coverage Paid holidays + PTO 401K with company match Tuition reimbursement Paid parental leave Short-term disability Lunch provided daily Employee discount on parts Schedule Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:00pm
