Description

Position Summary: The Welder is responsible for performing MIG and/or TIG welding on components according to specifications and blueprints. This role ensures high-quality welds while maintaining safety, productivity, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment. Main Duties: Perform MIG and/or TIG welding per specifications and blueprints Review work instructions and report part or equipment issues to supervisor Support safety, quality, and productivity improvement initiatives Complete assigned work within required timelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Communicate effectively with team members and follow supervisor instructions Experience: Minimum 1 year of welding experience required At least 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred Skills & Abilities: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders Knowledge of welding practices and basic quality standards Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for the full shift Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime as needed
