Our slogan, “The NEW Industry Standard,” reflects our commitment to quality, versatility, and continuous improvement. Job Summaries: We are seeking a dedicated Welder Apprentice to join our team. This role focuses on developing skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, as well as fabrication and mechanical support. As part of our non-union workforce, the apprentice will also cross-train in Mechanical and Electrical departments. The position involves approximately 75% travel and requires a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. Key Responsibilities: · Perform welding and fabrication tasks for industrial machinery installations and repairs. · Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings. · Assist in mechanical equipment setup and maintenance. · Conduct field repairs on piping, structural steel, and machine frames. · Cross-train in mechanical maintenance and basic electrical work. · Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet job timelines. · Follow proper housekeeping and safety procedures. · Travel to job sites across the country as part of a mobile crew. Requirements Qualifications: · Basic proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. · Basic fabrication skills and mechanical aptitude. · Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics. · Interest in learning electrical systems and controls. · Familiarity with OSHA regulations and PPE. · OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided if not held). · Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
