Truform Manufacturing LLC is located in Dickson Tennessee approximately 40 minutes to the West of Nashville Tennessee and is a TS16949 / ISO9001 supplier to the automotive and appliance industries.
Truform Manufacturing is a AITF16949 registered automotive supplier producing metal stampings and welded assemblies serving Appliance OEM’s and major Tier 1 companies. We are a privately held company on a growth trajectory with planned expansions and new business creating opportunities for talented and experienced professionals desiring to work in a hands-on, engineering driven organization.
This skilled position will primarily work as a production fabricator focused on assembly and weld of commercial cooking griddles, frames, as well as pool heater assemblies. This position may also work with CNC bending and Fiber Laser cutting equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

· Ability to TIG weld thin gage (.036 - .060) in a production environment with highly cosmetic stainless steel
· Ability to metal finish stainless steel cosmetic parts
· Ability to set up and safely utilize other fabrication equipment such as roll formers, press brakes, Jigs, Fixtures, air tools, hand grinders, shears, spot welders, etc.
· Ability to read and utilize part blueprints to produce finished assemblies.
· Demonstrated competency in basic math
· Basic ability to read and understand work instructions
· Ability to make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic issues or seek assistance
· Excellent record of attendance
· Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Strong orientation toward quality, safety and accuracy of work performed
· Ability to effectively implement or respond to change
· Must be able to lift 75 pounds
· Ability to work with little to no supervision

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

· High School Diploma or GED
· MIG, TIG, Stick cosmetic hand welding capability
· Machine shop or fabrication shop apprenticeship completion desired
· Trade school / tech school certification desired
· Ability to become certified on crane and fork truck

Responsibilities

· Receive components either purchased or produced from in house laser
· Set up jigs and fixtures to assemble components as per prints
· Verify dimensions on all work performed
· Package finished products as required
· Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
· Account for time and work completed on a daily basis
· Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic issues
· Follow all prescribed safety regulations
· Follow preventative maintenance Instructions on machines as prescribed
· Perform daily incoming audits / Process audits / Dock audits
· Maintain an acceptable level of 5S in the fabrication area
· Other duties as assigned
