OVERVIEW

Holbro Engineering is currently seeking a skilled Welding Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and the ability to read engineering drawings, and create weld procedures.
The position ensures the highest standards of welding competence, safety, and regulatory compliance, operating within the framework of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, as well as compliance with BS EN ISO 9606, with the aim to quickly achieve BS EN ISO 15085.
Any applicable training required to achieve ISO 15085 will be covered by the company.

Experience:

• Welding: 5 years (preferred

Coordinate and supervise welding operations across the company, ensuring adherence to internal procedures and external standards.
Develop, review, and maintain Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
Provide training, mentoring, and toolbox talks to welders, apprentices, and engineering staff.
Maintain a register of welder qualifications and organize periodic assessments and requalification testing.
Work with Quality personnel for root cause analysis, NDT investigations, and corrective actions in response to welding defects or repeat failures.
Ensure full documentation and traceability of welding activities, maintaining accurate digital records.
