REQUIREMENTS:

· Proven experience as a welding Supervisor or similar role.
· Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and equipment.
· Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
The working hours will be Monday – Thursday 7am-5pm and the salary will be negotiable depending upon experience and demonstratable level of expertise.

Responsibilities

· Ensuring all HSE standards and pre-operation checks are carried out on shift by team.
· Ensuring all quality 1st off and inspections are carried out by team.
· Promote best practices in health and safety, environmental and quality in line with company principles.
· Oversee welding activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
· Review and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine welding requirements.
· Supervise and manage a team of welders, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
· Monitor performance of welding team and take corrective actions where performance is not satisfactory.
· Understand welding team capacity and implement timely mitigating actions in the event of access demand.
· Develop operators in all processes to achieve their maximum potential and fostering a spirit of team working.
· Schedule and coordinate welding work based on delivery timelines and customer demands.
· Perform quality control checks on welding work to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
· Monitor inventory of welding consumables and equipment and order replacements when necessary.
· Maintain accurate records of welding activities, and produce reports as requested.
· Promote and maintain a high housekeeping in all welding areas.
· Implement and encourage new technology and practices to enhance safety, performance and efficiency.
