OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Welding Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and project management. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. The Welder will play an essential role in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures, ensuring quality and precision in every task.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Welder, preferably within the construction industry.
  • CWB Supervisor Certification needed.
  • Proficiency in project documentation and estimating is needed.
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating, cost control, and pricing strategies.
  • Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
  • Strong project management skills with an emphasis on meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A valid welding journeymen certification is mandatory.

  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

  • Participate in negotiations related to contracts and pricing for welding services.
  • Provide input on construction management practices to enhance project efficiency.
  • Document work progress and report any issues or delays to supervisors.
