Are you passionate about precision and quality in metal fabrication and welding? Join our team as a Welding Quality Inspector and play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety and excellence.
We’re looking for an experienced welder with Mig/Tig hands on knowledge from a weld shop. No Tickets required - Welding Quality Inspector to join our fast-paced, high-energy team and help us deliver excellence to our customers, every single time.
Barrie location, must have transportation
Salary to start $55-$60 K, benefits work straight days

QUALIFICATIONS

Inspect welded joints and structures for compliance with design specifications and industry standards
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections
Review and verify welding procedures and welder qualifications
Document inspection results and non-conformance reports
Collaborate with welders, engineers, and quality teams to resolve issues
Maintain accurate records and comply with all quality management systems
Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement devices, and QA documentation.

Responsibilities

Spot defects before they become problems—you’re the last line of defense!
Maintain clear, detailed records and reports of your findings.
Strong knowledge of welding processes, codes, and standards
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
Attention to detail with strong analytical and documentation skills
Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
Work closely with production and engineering teams to uphold quality standards.
Help shape a culture of continuous improvement and zero defects.
