• Supervise and coordinate welding activities at site or workshop to ensure compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project drawings
• Monitor welder performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards.
• Ensure proper use of welding equipment, materials, and consumables according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of welder qualifications, weld logs, and inspection reports.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures, especially related to hot work and confined spaces.
• Plan daily work schedules and manpower assignments to meet production targets.
• Support training and qualification of welders in line with company and industry standards.
