Job Summary: The Welding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all welding operations, including robotic, spot, and MIG welding processes. This role ensures that all welds meet quality and safety standards while maintaining productivity and efficiency on the production floor. The ideal candidate holds a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification and demonstrates strong leadership, technical expertise, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily welding operations (robotic, spot, and MIG) to ensure quality, productivity, and safety targets are achieved. Review and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and specifications to ensure compliance with standards. Conduct inspections and verify weld quality in accordance with AWS and IFAB standards. Provide technical guidance and training to welders and operators on proper welding techniques and safety procedures. Program and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment as needed. Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements. Maintain welding documentation, inspection records, and qualification logs. Ensure adherence to company safety policies and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Support the implementation of new welding technologies and equipment. Qualifications: CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification required. Minimum 5 years of experience in welding supervision or related roles in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of robotic, spot, and MIG welding processes. Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
