WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual committed to maintaining the highest nuclear welding standards. You will follow precise manufacturing instructions, route cards, and technical documentation, while supporting heat treatment processes and tooling control. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong teamwork, assisting Level 2/3 welding technicians during shifts and contributing to daily reporting. A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness, safety (HSE), and quality standards is essential. You should be adaptable, ready to take on various tasks as production demands, and capable of collaborating with team members to resolve quality or production issues effectively.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
As a Welding Technician (Level 1), you will be responsible for performing high-standard welds, including TIG welding, on materials such as Nickel, Steel, and Alloys. Using advanced mechanised welding technology for both static and rotational setups, you’ll contribute to the production of components for the nuclear industry. The role involves interpreting technical drawings and specifications, maintaining strict quality, safety, and environmental standards, and collaborating with the team to address production and quality issues. Flexibility to support other tasks when needed is also expected.
