Your Quality Care Services are a well-established home care provider and we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality care possible.
We are looking for motivated and caring individuals who share our ethos and want to make a real difference in the work that they undertake. This role is specifically for our branch in Newport, Essex; supporting our clients in a beautiful retirement village setting.
Guaranteed hour contract available
No travel
18 hours spread over 6 hour shifts per week. Alternate Weekends expected.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Experience is preferable but not always necessary, as full training will be provided including on-going career development training
To complete Care Certificate Qualification if equivalent qualification or experience not already gained
To work towards a minimum of NVQ2 if equivalent qualification not already gained
Applicants must be able to provide a minimum of three references at least one of which must be professional
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the right to live and work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
All applicants must undergo an enhanced DBS

Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To provide an night emergency response service to clients living within Retirement Village properties
To provide cleaning services in communal areas as per cleaning schedule
To provide highly individualised flexible support to people with disabilities or health needs living in the own homes
To respect the lifestyle and choices of clients to ensure they lead fulfilling lives
To work as part of the staffing services and be a team member of the Retirement Village Service providers to ensure that residents needs are fully met

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To respond to alarm calls made by residents and ensure that appropriate support is given, emergency services, on call manager and where requested family members are appropriately contacted
To assist with daily living activities specified within the client Care plan.
To support clients to take part in social or community events as required
To monitor the wellbeing of clients
