Fuel your passion The Integrated Solutions Well Engineer – Completions/Workover plays a key role in delivering engineering excellence across the full well lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on completion operations, well repair (workover), and intervention programs. This position supports activities from concept and tendering through execution and project close-out, ensuring all engineering work complies with the Integrated Solutions Management System, regulatory standards, and customer expectations. The role requires close collaboration with HSE, operations, commercial, and service delivery teams to ensure well integrity, safety, and operational efficiency while leveraging digital environments such as VCDSE. As an Integrated Solutions Well Engineer – Completions/Workover, you will be responsible for: • Preparing well designs, technical requirements, and operational plans focused on completion, workover, and intervention activities • Supporting tendering phases by providing engineering input and collaborating with commercial and procurement teams • Developing detailed well programs and procedures for completion operations and well repair (workover) interventions • Utilizing VCDSE (Virtual Collaborative Design System Environment) to support engineering design and planning • Defining technical services and coordinating third-party requirements • Preparing operational timelines, cost estimates, and project forecasts • Building risk registers and contingency plans with internal and external stakeholders • Monitoring daily operational progress and tracking project expenditures • Ensuring full compliance with HSE policies and promoting a strong safety culture • Engaging with customers through technical meetings, presentations, and operational updates • Tracking technical and operational KPIs and benchmarking against defined objectives • Supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and driving corrective actions • Preparing technical documentation including End of Well Reports and lessons learned • Ensuring proper data management aligned with Integrated Solutions standards • Driving continuous improvement through best practices, innovation, and technology adoption Specific Responsibilities The Well Engineer – Completions/Workover will focus on: • Well completion operations and optimization • Workover (well repair) activities and execution strategies • Design and implementation of well intervention programs • Enhancing well performance during post-drilling phases • Application of engineering tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce risk To be successful in this role you will: • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred) • Have 5+ years of experience in completions, workover, well intervention, or related operations • Demonstrate strong experience in well design, intervention programs, and/or field operations • Have knowledge or exposure to VCDSE or similar digital engineering platforms • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work in complex environments • Have excellent communication skills with English level B2 (intermediate), to be evaluated • Be proficient with MS Office, Power BI, and well engineering software tools • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams and cultures Desired Characteristics: • Strong background in completions and well intervention operations • Experience in workover and well repair activities • Exposure to various well types (conventional, horizontal, unconventional) • Well control awareness • Basic knowledge of geomechanics • Experience in integrated, multidisciplinary project environments Work in a way that works for you We recognize that flexibility helps people perform at their best.
