THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Well Integrity Field Technician to join our team in Red Deer, AB. This role involves on-site equipment installation, troubleshooting, and well integrity testing at remote client sites. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently in field environments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 3+ years in oil & gas or a related field (preferred)
  • Education: High School Diploma required; technical training in engineering, mechanical, electrical, or environmental fields is an asset

Responsibilities
  • Perform well integrity tests, gas migration testing, and surface casing vent flow monitoring at client sites.
  • Ensure equipment is function-tested, installed properly, and operational.
  • Conduct general preventative maintenance on testing equipment, vehicles, and trailers.
  • Maintain, inspect, and transport inventory, tools, and materials.
  • Act as a local business development representative when interacting with client representatives.
  • Prepare accurate, detailed reports and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Conduct facility inspections and maintain a safe and orderly shop environment.
  • Drive to and from client work sites using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Work safely and adhere to all regulatory and company safety standards.
