MOL Group Exploration & Production is looking for a Well Operations Engineer 📍Location: Mol Campus (On-site) 🏢Department: Group Exploration and Production 🎥Get to know MOL: MOL Group: Shape Tomorrow (youtube.com) In this role, you will take part in the planning and preparation of drilling, completion and well intervention projects, playing a key role in turning engineering concepts into safe, efficient and cost-effective operations. You will also provide technical support throughout project execution, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery. Your responsibilities will include Preparing geotechnical, operational and cost plans for drilling projects Designing well completion and well intervention operations, including cost estimation Providing engineering support and technical oversight during project execution Performing preliminary engineering studies, risk assessments and cost estimations for drilling and well operation projects Contributing technical input to project proposals and Integrated Technical Reviews (ITRs) Preparing technical specifications for well construction materials and services Supporting procurement processes, including tender preparation, technical evaluations and supplier selection Participating in inventory optimization and material management activities Developing, updating and improving drilling and well operation standards, procedures and best practices Ensuring compliance with internal requirements and international industry standards Supporting the introduction and evaluation of new technologies and innovative engineering solutions Participating in technical performance reviews and cost analyses of drilling and well intervention operations Analyzing operational data to improve efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness Conducting feasibility studies and technical assessments for future well operations and development opportunities What we are looking for Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in drilling engineering or deep drilling operations Strong expertise in drilling design and well engineering Knowledge of industry standards, well construction materials and drilling equipment Business-level English communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities Result-oriented and customer-focused mindset Flexibility and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments Why join us?
