Job Description The Wellness Administrative Assistant (WAA) will report to the Health and Wellness Director. Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00 Hourly Responsibilities and Duties · Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents, staff and families. · Coordinates interviews and orientation for new team members. · Ensures all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts. · Documents and updates the EHR as directed and under the supervision of the HWD. · Appropriately utilizes and keeps electronic documentation “devices” safe and secure within the community. · Participates in and attends all in-service training(s) as scheduled. · Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures. · Perform and oversee staffing scheduling (state specific). · Assists with communication via telephone, facsimile and/or email with families, physicians, third party vendors and/or staff. · Schedules appointments for residents as directed from the nursing staff. · Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or ED Qualifications · High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required. · Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid a plus · Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population, preferred dementia experience Additional Information Valuing a connection to the community, we are creating a pedestrian-friendly front plaza which will offer art fairs, farmers markets, and festivals.
