We’re seeking an energetic, member-focused Wellness Center Manager to oversee daily operations of our Wellness Centers at the Summit and Berkeley Heights branches. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the Wellness Centers at the Summit and Berkeley Heights branches, ensuring consistency in quality, service, and safety. Lead by example—spend at least 50% of your time on the wellness floor engaging members and supporting staff. Train, schedule, and supervise wellness staff across both locations. Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and organization of all wellness areas. Coordinate member engagement initiatives such as fitness challenges, orientations, and special events. Address member concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with program directors and branch leadership to support YMCA wellness programming. Salary & Benefits This full-time, non exempt-level position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week. This role generally works Monday–Friday during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities. The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/ hour, based on experience. An associates degree in related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education/ certification and/ or experience. Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology. Strong computer skills CPR/ AED certified Demonstrated maturity and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
