We are seeking an experienced Wellness Medical Receptionist who is professional, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Wellness Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our patients and a key support for our clinical team. We are specifically seeking a candidate with previous medical receptionist experience who is comfortable handling various administrative and billing systems within a wellness or rehabilitation clinic setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mandatory: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a medical receptionist in a physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, or wellness clinic.
  • Strong working knowledge of WSIB, HCAI, MVA billing procedures, and Jane App.
  • Experience with extended health insurance submissions and reconciliation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Positive, team-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome and check in patients in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage online inquiries.
  • Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments efficiently.
  • Process payments and manage direct billing to insurance companies.
  • Accurately manage patient files and ensure confidentiality at all times.
  • Coordinate WSIB, HCAI, and MVA claims, including electronic submissions.
  • Utilize and manage Jane App for scheduling, billing, and chart management.
  • Submit and reconcile extended health insurance claims.
  • Communicate with therapists and staff to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
