POSITION: LPN/LVN Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Memory Care
REPORTS TO: Health and Wellness Director
FLSA: Hourly
Shift: Full-time / Part-time / PRN

POSITION SUMMARY

The nurse is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Their duties include communicating with doctors and other Registered Nurses about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid their patients’ health and using medical equipment to monitor patients’ vital signs.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Education is required to obtain a state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN).
• Must have current LPN licensure in good standing.
• One-to-two-year experience in assisted living.
• One-to-two-years dementia care experience required.
• CPR certification
• Must have strong understanding of the English language sufficient to read, write and interpret administrative information.
