Overview The Wellness Registered Dietitian provides on-site health coaching, health screenings and educational classes for clients. Responsibilities Provides individual nutrition counseling based on nutrition assessments and lab results for hospital employees focused on weight management, heart health, diabetes prevention, and other wellness goals as determined by patient. Designs and delivers wellness programs and educational workshops on various topics Supports the Corporate wellness team to provide one on one counseling or group classes as needed Care manager for DiabetesMatters Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from an accredited college or university Licensure, Certification and or Registration: Alabama State Licensure. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (must be obtained within 6 months of employment) Experience: 1-2 years clinical experience preferred but not required Additional Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills. Good organizational skills with attention to detail necessary.
