Ayurprana has now opened a facility called So-Hum Mountain Healing Resort, that will help facilitate healing at all levels for an individual to release body work, detox panchakarma therapies, and educational class (yoga, breath work, meditation, and nutrition to help support an individual in their healing process. Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Sohum Mountain Healing is a space where nature and ancient wisdom come together to create transformational experiences. We offer healing experiences that promise to rejuvenate the mind, body, and spirit. Guests can spend their days immersed in the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga to allow themselves a space to reflect, heal, and awaken to a greater sense of Self. In addition to SoHum Mountain Healing, AyurPrana owns and manages Asheville Yoga Center, AyurPrana Listening Room, and also offers online courses and virtual lifestyle consultations through the AyurPrana website. AyurPrana also supports marketing and operations for The Ayurvedic Institute. Position Statement The Wellness Spa Director reports to the Executive Director and General Manager and is responsible for Elevating Conscience and fostering the SoHum Mountain Healing culture within all the business units for AyurPrana. The Wellness Spa Director manages and directs all activities of the Spa. This position will hire and train all Massage Therapists in the specific treatment protocols designed for the practice. This includes Abhyanga therapy, Shirodhara, sweat therapy, and other ayurveda bodywork techniques. Must be well versed in the various oils used for the body and essential oils used for marma points. The Wellness Spa Director will collaborate with the Ayurvedic practitioners on treatment recommendations for the clients and guide the massage therapy team in execution of those therapies. Compensation is based on experience. Requirements Qualifications: ? Massage background preferred with a current Massage License in North Carolina. Not required. ? Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating coworkers. Preferably in a wellness spa environment. ? Commitment to excellence and high standards ? Ability to work with all levels of management and coworkers ? Passion and commitment to the business at an ownership level ? Possess high energy, professionalism and confidence every day and in every way ? Capable to successfully prioritize, delegate, organize and multi-task ? Desire and ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and staff ? Deep desire for health and wellness.
