The Welsh Language Development Team within the Department for Education, Children and Family Services is keen to appoint an excellent, ambitious, flexible and professional practitioner to work as a Welsh Language Development Teacher to support the aspirations of the local authority’s Welsh in Education Strategic Plan (WESP).
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about the Welsh language to teach and support the development of the Welsh language within schools and language immersion centres across Carmarthenshire.
Ideally, the post holder will have successful experience of teaching and raising Welsh language standards along with experience of foundation learning.
We are looking for an experienced, organised, lively and reliable practitioner who is fluent in Welsh and has a solid understanding of child development and language acquisition.
The ability to communicate effectively through the medium of Welsh and English is essential for this role.
