New Directions are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis across Welsh medium secondary schools across Conwy. The ability to speak Welsh fluently is essential for this role.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning by supervising classes during teacher absences. You’ll ensure a positive learning environment and help maintain continuity in the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, experienced educators, or anyone with a strong interest in working with young people in a Welsh language environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-set work to classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Support students in following lesson plans and completing tasks.
  • Report back to teaching staff on student progress and classroom incidents.
