OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high standards of food safety, and fostering a positive team atmosphere.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Strong background in restaurant management, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
  • Familiarity with Micros POS systems or similar cash handling systems is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and training.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen environment.
  • Previous experience in interviewing candidates for various positions within the restaurant is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.
