We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Vice President to lead and manage the sales strategy and execution within a designated geographic region. This senior-level role is responsible for driving regional revenue growth, developing and coaching high-performing sales teams, and cultivating strong customer and partner relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with corporate objectives and growth targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. Analyze sales performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement and acceleration. Team Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales managers and representatives within the region. Foster a high-performance sales culture through coaching, development, and accountability. Conduct regular field visits to support sales reps, coach in real time, and strengthen customer relationships. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners. Serve as the escalation point for major customer issues, resolving concerns with speed and diplomacy. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings as needed. Operational Oversight Manage regional budgets, territory planning, forecasts, and pipeline health. Ensure accurate and timely CRM reporting and compliance with company policies. Partner with internal departments (marketing, product, operations, finance) to align regional efforts with broader company goals. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred. 7+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional sales management role. Experience in medical device, healthcare, or capital equipment sales strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams across multi-state territories. Deep understanding of channel sales, key account management, and strategic selling practices. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM platforms and sales performance tools. Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned region.
